So I’m here early at church, around 3 o’ clock. And we’ve been given specific instructions to “not make any additions, deletions, or changes” to any slides. Apparently, this week’s message is diverging from our normal path, but the overall feeling is… stifling. And I don’t know if I can do it this way. For me to not make changes when I think they’re for the best…no, when I KNOW from my 7 years of experience in Multisensory Worship presentation on every level that the changes are for the best…it stings. And it makes me not want to do tech anymore, to reclaim my weekends for my family. Maybe that’s what God’s trying to tell me to do. So now I just have to wait until the musicians get here to start rehearsing, then run through a bunch of pre-made, ugly slides with a faux-inspirational background and try to be professional about what I do.<\/p>\n
